Baby Miles is here!đź’•
I’m so in love with him and still in shock he’s here and he’s mine lol. I went in Monday the 29th at 8pm to start my induction. I was at 2cm so they gave me 1 dose of cytotec and then checked me 4 hours later. I was at a 3 so they just let me sleep until 6:30am and then started pitocin. 8:15am I was at a 4 and my doctor broke my water, which felt sooo weird but didn’t hurt haha. After that the contractions got INTENSE. I think around noon I was at a 5-6 and asked for the epidural. I was shaking so bad and puking from the pain. They came so quickly thankfully and it was sooo much easier than I thought it would be! The lidocaine hurt a bit but I felt so much relief after. It kicked in and I could feel small pressure from contractions but that’s it. I was able to rest for a little bit. They put the peanut ball between my legs while I slept and around 3pm I was at a 10! My nurse had me sit and labor for about 40 mins while we waited on the doctor. I felt fine and she talked me through how to push. My doctor came in around 3:45 and at 4:06pm on June 30th baby Miles was born!💕 The nurses and doctor were shocked at how well I pushed for it being my first lol. I had a 2nd degree year and got about 2 stitches. Sadly the epidural wore off mid pushing and I felt all the stitching lol which was fine. He weighed 7lb 4oz and 19 inches long. He is so handsome and sweet❤️ Hopefully getting discharged tomorrow morning! We’re ready to be home with him. Since we couldn’t have visitors my mother in law brought my step kids to our window and they got to see him before they had to go to their moms for a couple weeks. It was so sweet! Good luck to all you mommas this month!💗
