Uti in pregnancy

Anyone ever have a uti in pregnancy? If so what medicine did they put you on? I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I had one so I went to the obgyn today and they are sending my urine out to be tested but she’s putting me on macrobid just Incase. When asked if it was safe she said there’s mixed reviews but it is generally safe for middle of pregnancy. (I’m 20+3) anyone been on this before and everything turned out ok? I’m a first time mom so I’m a little nervous about everything lol.
