•Long story I live with my bf’s parents

•Mom is lazy and doesn’t clean (I do everything)

•Husband told me today that she doesn’t like to cook or clean and she said nope she’s not doing it

•Said she’s tired from work and wants to relax (she sits down all day and she does at home)

•She tells him if he gets up and clean she will, also gets mad to clean when he tells her

I finally realized that my boyfriend is lazy like her,

•sometimes doesn’t shower everyday, doesn’t brush his teeth at night (once in a while)

•doesn’t take out the trash unless someone says

•leaves dirty clothes everywhere including dirty socks

•he’ll come home from work lay his dirty smelly feet with his socks on the bed, I to do you not care the bed smells he does nope, he worries about important things in life like working and saving money

He said if he works a lot of hours in a week he shouldn’t have to pick up his mess.

And I know his mom probably thinks like this and he gets it from her, he said he’s used to having a mess and he’ll only clean if it’s like really bad but a mess doesn’t bother him.

I’m stressing/having anxiety all of sudden because I worry he’s never gonna change. I worry he’s gonna be like his mom and make excuses. They both get mad when someone asks them to do something. It gets me so frustrated because I grew up very clean and I clean a lot. I’ll clean the bathroom and he’ll shower and leave his clothes and shoes in there. Why can’t he think this is nice I’m gonna keep it clean.

He said he’ll only do something if I ask if not then he won’t do it not like tell me no but if it’s there he won’t clean. I tell him he’s a grown adult who can pick up after himself, he said he’ll work on it but he doesn’t

Is this normal?
