Is it okay to take a mental health day from work???

Yes I have taken many, mental health is as important as physical health. And if your workplace doesn’t believe in mental health days just tell them you don’t feel good

Just an fyi I have what would be considered mental illness ( that’s what the doctors said) well anxiety depression and bipolar. I’ve gotten sent home for depression and bipolar outbursts. I’ve called in or told them I’m leaving early because of it.  Just get a note from a doctor to tell you’re job that you have a mental illness and need time from work occasionally. Don’t take time a lot but when you seriously need it. My outburst typically happen once in a blue moon now at work because I’ve learned to control/ burry it while at work. I hope this helped! Jobs will always be mad if you call out you could have the flu and they’d still want you to come in lol
