Help with polyamorous relationship pls.

So I've been with my husband for 6 years now and over the past 6 months, we've been getting into playing with others. Like I will have a friends with benefits and he will have a fuck buddy, that kind of thing. Well about a month ago, I started talking to the mechanic fixing my car and we talked about being fwb. Well, we've been fucking around and stuff and my husband knows. Last night I got super drunk with the fwb and I told him that I have feelings for him, which is kinda true. I've built a connection with him and think I do have some feelings for him. He and I are kinda at a stalemate right now because he is scared to catch more feelings for me and fall in love with me. I feel heartbroken because I don't know what to do. Any advise on how to handle this situation?
