Membrane sweep work ?

Anyone have it work ? & if so when did it start to work & did you have any signs of you about to go into labor ?

Worked for me! My ob says everyone shes done has gone into labor within two days. She was pretty rough with it and she had blood on her gloves and told me thats a great sign to expect contractions that night. Which i did but they tapered off and the next day they started up again and i also had my bloody show, tons of mucus plug and blood then contractions went away for about 2-3hrs then came back stronger than ever. I delivered an hour later.

Had it done 3 times and didn't work for me. But everyone is different!

Had it done on week 39 and it didn't work.  Had it done the following week again and went into labor that night.  Was also already 6 cm dialated but was yet in 'labor'

4th baby had it done and went into labor 2 days later. 5th baby had it done early afternoon, went on a long long walk, had lunch. Home to bounce on excersize ball for a few hrs off and on. Contractions stated a few hrs after the sweep. I had baby the next day just about 26 hrs after it was done.
