Don't know what to do. 😔

Okay, this isn't a happy post like my usual but I love this group so much that I feel comfortable sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly. It's been a rough day emotionally and I just need to get it out. ❤️

When do we start worrying about behaviors? My son is constantly biting, scratching, hitting, and pulling my hair. He's whines 95% of the time, and I can't leave his side for more than 30 seconds without him screaming bloody murder. It's been months and I'm starting to feel so defeated. We've tried the stern 'no' approach (which makes him scream at the top of his lungs), we've tried the no response approach (which is hard because if you know my Connor you know he got 8 teeth very early so they are big chompers now!).

I kept telling myself it was fine, it's what babies do. He'll grow out of it. He would usually bite my shoulder or arm while carrying him, or playfully try to bite our noses, but today it crossed the line when Connor lunged and bit my face out of nowhere when I picked him up. Like properly chomped my face.

I know he's a baby and he doesn't mean anything malicious by it obviously, it's just mentally and physically exhausting when this tiny life you put your everything into is just constantly unhappy and has these negative behaviors towards you. It's starting to really take a mental toll on me and I'm not sure where to go from here. I feel like I'm failing. 😞

Does anyone else's baby bite them? Or yank out fistfuls of your hair? Is this really a normal phase? Any other tips? I always wanted 2 or 3 kids but I'm 99% sure I can't go through this again. 😔
