*Trigger warning* I was targeted in my early 20s by a white supremacist and the trauma is unrel

I need advice in healing and advice in responding...

My ex’s father tried to have me lynched.

I know that might not sound real to a lot of you (or maybe it will, in 2020)... but it happened only a few years ago. And it was traumatic.

I’m no longer dating his son, and in fact his son pursued me so aggressively after I left him that I had to press charges...

But what happened... still happened.

And I wonder if I have any recourse whatsoever. I don’t feel like I do.

Any advice would be welcome.

I can explain a bit more if necessary. I’m also trying to protect my anonymity. Because there’s a lot I’m willing to do in response to this, and I don’t know what could jeopardize a potential case.
