Tattoo help?

I got a tattoo last Friday. The artist recommended I use aquaphor on it. But now that it’s peeling, when I apply the aquaphor, since it’s so thick, it peels off all the little pieces and I don’t want to ruin my tattoo by the aquaphor peeling off pieces that weren’t ready yet. What should I do?

Your tattoo is meant to peel and flake I wouldn’t worry to much about it x

If they're coming off just from rubbing it on, then they are ready to come off. The whole tattoo will eventually peel off in small pieces before it heals

Some baby creams without Vaseline are great to keep colour & to not crack the peeling, I’m not sure if it’s sold where you are but I use “Bepanthen”. This has saved my tattos & they haven’t faded one bit, it was also recommended by my tattoo artist 🙂

Try a and d instead. Check the baby isle should be there next to all the desatin and balmex creams.

I used aveeno baby lotion on my last tattoo and it worked amazing

Try this. I usually use aquaphor on my tattoos as well. Just a very tiny amount. It’s going to peel and pieces will come off it won’t ruin your tattoo.
