Teething questions
My baby is 7 months old and has been teething for what seems like months. The past 2 weeks though have been really rough. Her teeth are so close to breaking through, but they just aren't quite there yet. Sleep has been awful. Naps and nighttime. She was sleeping 6-7 hours straight at night and taking hour long naps. Now I'm lucky if I can get her to lay down in her crib for 5 minutes without waking up screaming. She's hard to settle at night and during the day. Night time is the worst though. I've been giving her Tylenol before bed and she'll sleep until it wears off, but I'm afraid of giving too much to her. I only give it during the day if she's really really fussy. I know I can give it to her every 6 hours (per bottle instructions) but how many days can I do that? I don't want to ruin her tiny baby liver. I've also been using Baby Oragel on occasion at the pediatrician's recommendation. I give her icy and cold teethers during the day and we've been experimenting with baby popsicles (in a mesh feeder) and she really enjoys them. I know it can take a few weeks for teeth to break through, but I'm just kinda at my wits end for how else I can help her. She's tired all day because she's not taking good naps to make up for the bad nighttime sleep. I'm just running out of ideas to help her other than filling her up with Tylenol but I'm really afraid to give her too much. TIA
