Anyone else a SAHM and have a husband who’s job is unpredictable and you never know when they’ll be home?? 😅 
My husbands a pilot and I think he’s coming home today but just found out I won’t see him until Sunday now..
Such a struggle with no family or friends here and being alone for so long with a baby.

My husband used to be before we had the baby, we decided he had to find a new job before having baby because our dog waa a handful alone then. I was working as a correctional officer so I had long days then. I'm a SAHM now. I couldn't imagine my husband doing that now. Now my husband is just on call a lot and it can be hard. Yes! My SO works the overnight shift and is usually gone from 5pm-6am and then comes home and sleeps until he has to wake for work again, I am mentally and physically exhausted not to mention lonely. I totally get it! I have an 11 week old son and not having anyone besides a baby to talk to gets lonely. Hang in there mama!

Yes my husband (especially before Covid) travels for work a lot and often doesn’t know when he’s leaving or when he will return. I don’t meal plan or prep and have gotten good at just being flexible. Luckily I have his parents and 2 SILs in town for help when I need it. And my mom is an hour away.

I totally get it, my husband was a correctional officer on night shift, not as unpredictable as a pilot but those days were long. I know it feels like it, but you are not alone! Where are you from?
