Bottles 🍼?? Help!

NEW MOM QUESTION!
So if I am formula feeding, how many bottles of each size should I start out with? I currently have 2 8oz & 5 4oz... I know that they only use the smaller ones for about a month or two so I was thinking about exchanging the box of 3 small bottles for the bigger 8oz ones? I know that I will need more than two large ones regardless, But if you guys think I need them all I will just buy an additional pack of larger ones and keep all the ones I have shown.
**Also note that the inside of these bottles is a removable rubber pouch so I can buy more of those without having to buy more physical bottles

I’d wait to stock up on one kind of bottle til baby is here, some babies like different nipple types, my second baby was breastfed, it took forever to get her to take a bottle, but when she finally would it was the classic nipple. Your baby might prefer a different type of nipple than that, so I’d see if s/he likes that nipple shape/size before getting more.

We had 6 when she was strictly bottle fed, I'd make them the night before and it made life so easy. Hubs washed and sterilized every night.

I completely agree with the other comment ... don’t buy anymore until after baby only because he may not like these ones! They are super cute tho! I saw these on amazon! 💙

Third time mom: I bought boon nursh for this baby and I can’t wait to use them! With the first two I used the playtex nurser with drop ins.  I prefer to use drop in bottles because you can push out all of the air out prior to feeding the formula to the baby so it is beyond helpful for prevention of a gassy baby. ￼￼ I went with Boon this time because you can reuse the liners.￼

I have a 9 month old, and she is strictly bottle fed now. We only have 4 bottles. Two of each size. It works fine for us if your okay with washing them during the day. And we only used two until she was 3 months old. She’s not a huge eater and still uses the small ones during the day.

I’d keep all the small bottles and get another pack of bigger bottles. My baby used the small bottles until she was like 5 months old.

I’d keep all the small ones. They eat small amounts at the start but very frequently, so you’d be washing/sterilizing them constantly for the first while if you only had two. Especially if you plan on travelling anywhere and don’t have easy access to your bottle cleaning supplies etc. Just my thought! I liked to have like 5/6 of each size on hand for our 3.5yr old when she was a baby, so I wasn’t washing bottles all day.

We tried 5 different types of bottles most were samples we got and he liked them in the beginning but then wouldn’t drink well from
NUK, NURSH, playtex and he really ended up just liking avent so you might need to try different ones... since my littlest two are gonna be close in age and he is still using bottles for nap/sleep I have to pick a new brand for the new baby.. gonna start with playtex cause love the drop ins and mam

Definitely wait before stocking up! Grab one of a few different brands until you know what babe likes. It took us 6 brands before we found one that didn’t make our little chick immediately vomit up her feeds.
