Private scan

After another 2nd trimester loss in November, I've been anxious since I found out about this pregnancy 3 weeks ago. Just about 7 weeks and I don't see my consultant until 28th July. I can't take the waiting any more so booked a private scan for Saturday morning. Now, I've done it I'm anxious for other reasons. I just can't win.

Anyway, this is the first time I've booked a private scan (Scotland), and now I wondering what to expect? Has anyone been to one of these appointments lately?
