Walking milestone - just need to say this

It’s so encouraging to read ur comments on letting babies reach these milestones on their own time. It’s a nice reminder. My MIL shared my husband walked at 10mos and talked early too so now this crazy deadline is in my head for some reason. I feel if my baby doesn’t walk at that age I’ll be judged. I mean she already says that I “carry her everywhere” (based on what she sees but I do give my baby time to play independently on the floor or with me) and that my “baby is content sitting there” always said I wouldn’t compare but I sometimes catch myself doing it. I just need to remember all the other skills my baby has achieved.
