High blood pressure.

So I was looking back at the information from my last appointment. I was having really bad headaches all week, but that was it. My blood pressure was 144/100. I know that bottom number is high but Is there really nothing doctors will do if it’s around there? I’m just surprised my doctor didn’t do more I guess. Not even keep me a little longer to monitor my blood pressure. Maybe cause I had no protein in my urine? Just wondering if this is common or I’m worrying for nothing.
