Hormone Free Birthcontrol Options??

I am desperate for hormone free birth control options ?? My OB prescribed the mini pill because I am EBF but I am scared because of all the side effects and I have never really responded well to hormone birth controls. Any suggestions?

The copper iud is hormoneless(is that even a word?) 😂 my best friend uses that form of birth control because hormones mess with her body bad.

I’ve been on the combination pill but I’m currently on the minipill because I was ebf. The hormones from breastfeeding were terrible on my body. I stopped but continued the minipill and my symptoms got so much better so for me, the minipill was perfect.

I'm not too familiar with all the options out there, but you could just do condoms. Or the fertility awareness method/family planning method. That might take some time to learn though. We've done FAM before, and it's very effective if you do it right.
