Do you carry pepper spray or some sort of self defense weapon

Have you ever had to use it? Why do you carry it? Why do you not carry one?

Pepper spray and a small pocket knife. We live in a fucked up world and I rather be able to protect myself.

I have pepper spray, hunting knife, and this stun gun:

I'm really small (4'11" and 90 lbs). My dad bought it for me when I moved out at 18. I kept it in my car for a long time. 
My husband works nights now and we have 3 very young children (3 years, 21 months, and 2.5 weeks), so now I keep my stun gun, the knife, and some pepper spray in a small combination safe in the top of my closet. 
I've never had to use any of them. But being alone at night with 2 toddlers and a baby while being about the size of a 12 year old.. I feel safer having some kind of weapons if I need to protect my children.

Yes I carry pepper spray on my keys. Have I had to use it? No. But I want to be prepared there’s a lot of creeps in the world I work night shift walking out to my car on lunch in the middle of the night is scary so yes I have something to protect myself. Rather be safe than sorry ...

Pepper spray is a joke to me. I’ve been maced with OC and that stuff is good but those little key chain things women carry are a major joke tbh. I carry a knife on me that wraps around my nuckles so it can’t come off

I actually don’t carry anything. In The UK, pepper spray is illegal for the general public but available for the police. So are tasers (I think, I need to check). I personally haven’t really felt the need to carry anything but then again I barely come out of my house.

Used to carry pepper spray, now I carry a knife, hope to get my conceal carry sometime in the future. Better safe than sorry.
