I’m 25 and in a great relationship. I’m really happy.

It’s just I want to eventually within the next year take the next step and move out. (I still live with my parents and so does my boyfriend. He will be 27 next month)

He is looking to buy a house and would want me to move it. I don’t make a ton of money at all. I do have almost 9,000 saved for whatever and an emergency fund as well. I save 160 a month for retirement and have 8,000 so far there and hoping to grow that.

Career wise- I don’t really know what to do. I apply for jobs but with the pandemic, everyone is now looking for one so it’s hard to find. I don’t mind getting a part time job and have thought of that too just to roll in some extra money.

My boyfriend said he can pay the mortgage and all that and I would just pay like other expenses/groceries. We haven’t really talked in full detail and the reason I would’ve buy the house with him is because I honestly can’t afford it and his finances are much better than mine. I’m in sooo much student loan debt. (Which I am paying 500 a month to dig my way out of).

So all in all, I just don’t know how to take the next step. I mean making more money is one way to get freedom but is there anything else I could be doing?

I also am trying to start sell some of my artwork within the next year or so. I have a small art instagram that is gaining a following and would love to create as a side hustle. It just takes time to build.
