Social media photos dangerous?

Question

If a girl posts a photo to social media wearing a bikini, bra, bandeau, short shorts, mini skirts, etc it could be used against her as porn? I know a few people that post photos like this and they don’t understand how it could be problematic. I have people judge me for my occupation and then they do things like that and think it’s fine. It’s actually researched and found out that incidents like this have happened where girls post to Instagram wearing bikini at the beach then they find the same photo of them on adult sites and they don’t even realize it or understand why the photos there or how it got there. A few people close to me have told me that since my occupation involved this I would get raped and murdered for it when she’s one of those girls that posts similar things just to get likes, comments, and attention and that her boyfriend has messaged me at least twice asking about my occupation. Another girl I know also tried to help me with being assaulted then tried to flip it around on me when she found out my occupation also while she was another one of those girls on Instagram posting photos in her bralette.

I don’t think it’s your job to be policing their account or telling them what they’re doing is dangerous.

They can petition to have those pictures removed from adult sites because it was done without consent and if someone trys to utilize or sell those pictures they can be sued. I’m not really sure what you’re asking or what is being said here. Yes posting things to social media has risks and so do some occupations but neither deserve to be victim blamed when something goes askew.

It’s quite simple really:  if you wouldn’t be ok with anyone or anyone seeing it, don’t post it.  
It’s the internet.  It ALWAYS has the potential to go elsewhere.

I don't think bikini pictures are that big of a deal? I'm not sure if it's because bikinis are super common where I'm from, but I dont really see anything pornographic about it.

That stuff happens to a load of people everyday and assumedly it's understood that posting anything is out there forever and anyone, if they really want it, can access it. It's up to parents to teach their kids that and the person posting it to own up to that. I'm not saying it's right, but that's how the internet works.

If you're not comfortable with your picture being out there then dont post them. I personally dont give a fuck if someone takes my pictures off my profile and I've made sure to only post stuff that I would be okay with someone stealing. If they are okay with it then thats their business.
