Rhogam shot 4 weeks

Hi ladies. I went to the doctor today for my bloodwork and my beta hcg was 500.3. It tripled from Friday. I did hav over the weekend some mucus red discharge. The doctor wants to administer a rhogam shot. Has anyone had this before ?
