Starting my pack late

Due to certain circumstances I couldn't afford to go out and buy my next pack of birthcontrol as i usually do. So i let my boyfriend buy it for me. However he got so busy during my pill-free week that he bought the pack late. As a result I started my new pack on Saturday instead of friday 5 pm. So for safety and to keep on schedule I doubled my dose that day, to make up for friday since it was not 24 hours yet (i use combination pills). First pill 3pm second pill 5pm

However, i get really nauseas on the first week of birthcontrol and threw up 5 hours after taking my 2nd pill on Saturday. I followed my pack and took sunday and monday on time.

My concern is that I had unprotected sex last night a couple hours after my pill for monday and he did not pull out. Am I still protected if I continue my pack as normal?

*i was still on my period when i started the pack.
