is it normal to be 140lbs but be a size 0-2?

I'm really confused. i'm 5'7-5'8ish and 140lbs, I always wear a 25/26 in pants so an XS/2. yesterday I was online shopping at a website I've never ordered from before and did the suggested size calculator because I was unsure which size to order because of the brand, and it told me I was a size 8 based on the physical info I gave! now I'm here wondering if I've been wearing the wrong size the entire time?? I fit just fine into XS/2s so is this abnormal??

No. At around 155 im a size 2. And ive been 125 and a size 6. Size and weight are not parallels

 I wear xs to s depending on the brand.

Brands sizing is all very different and people carry weight differently.
Before I was pregnant I was 145lbs and 5’3 and fit into an 8 in most stores but could also fit into a 4 or a 10 in other stores.

Brands fit different. But thats a huge size difference. Perhaps use a measuring tape and decide the sizing off of that rather than the calculator
