Elvie breast pump

Yeliza

I currently have a medela pump in style breast pump free from insurance. I also have a spectra free from target(long story). I am pumping 8 to 10 times in 24 hours. Pumping 7 to 9oz per session. My breast get full really fast and hurt it I don't pump on time. I change my babys diaper then feed him and change him again if he dirty his diaper again before putting him to sleep so I can pump. However hes not letting me pump on time because its taking me longer to put him to sleep and once i try to put him down I have to pick him back up because he starts crying. He basically wants to be held all day and all night. So i just ordered an baby wrap carrier and now Im thinking of ordering the elvie pump? But my question is will it be worth it? Does it work well? I've read that it leaks sometimes. I want to be able to do my daily routines like cleaning in the mornings before kids are up, cook 3 meals a day and give attention to my 7 and 4 year old. Its been rough having to hold baby and use one hand to do things then delaying a pump session because baby isn't comfortable being put down anywhere. Not being able to clean and attend to my other two kids has been putting me down and making me feel overwhelmed. I need to figure something out. My husband works 12 hours a day and by the time he comes home hes tired and falling asleep. He took a week off when baby was born and was a huge help but he can't take more days off. I have no other help.. Im alone with the kiddos
