Induction process? Nervous!

Question

I’m schedule for a induction Monday morning if I don’t labour before . Has anyone gone through a induction and can tell me how that is like? I’m so nervous I don’t know what to expect

Mine was the easiest labor in the hospital that day... I laughed and loved my labor.. induced at 9am and he was here at 6:57.. one push and he was out.. no pain.. it was amazing

I got induced on July 2nd I was 41+4 and 4-5 centimeters dilated, my doctor wanted to go all natural, so we used the breast pump for 15 minutes every 40 minutes, until she broke my water, I got induced at 3:30 pm or so and had the baby at 1:39 am, I ended up getting an epidural when I was 9 centimeters dilated because I couldn't handle the pain anymore and I was very tired, it helped me "slept" for about 40 minutes. Our baby was 10lbs 3 oz!

I was induced at 41+1 because my amniotic fluid was almost gone and they asked if I wanted to.
I got to the hospital at 1 and by 2, I was in the gown, in the bed. Between 2pm and 12am, they did 3 rounds of Cervidil to open my uterus up. They pretty much told me to consistently eat because once I got an epidural, I couldn't eat.
At 3:30am, I had a round of Nubain to help with intense back labor--I couldn't even stand up. At 7am, they came in and did my epidural and pitocin. I legit didn't feel anything.
After 2 hours of pushing, my daughter was born right before 9pm. I had a really good experience and labor. I don't remember some of it, just because I was so exhausted 😩

I was induced. Unfortunately I can’t give you a good impression of it. They put in what are called foley balloons to induce me before I could have the pitocin.  If you are told you have to have those, the nurses might tell you they’re uncomfortable. It’s more than uncomfortable, they hurt so bad.  The nurse had to attempt putting the balloons in twice. I had them in for 3 hours- went from 2-5 cams in that time- before they gave me the pitocin to continue dilating.  Having the pitocin going was much better than the balloons!! I

There’s nothing to be scared of! It’s just an IV and some medicine to soften your cervix. 
You might get nauseas from the pitocin, but the feeling didn’t last long. (I did vomit a couple times). Then it’s just like normal labor 🤷‍♀️
