Stay or leave?

My boyfriend and I have talked about getting married. He doesn’t want to give me a diamond engagement ring because he says they are blood diamonds and other stones are prettier. Then he says he wants a small wedding, but I want a big wedding (I have over 20 cousins). We can’t even agree on this and then I am pretty sure I want another child (although I already have one from a previous relationship) and he doesn’t want any (other than my daughter). But I love him, but he says it isn’t about just love, it’s wanting the same things in life. I’m distraught. I just don’t know what to do. Any advice on how to make a decision I’m happy with?
