Anyone have a cerclage?

Question

Last pregnancy my cervix was funneling and shortening at 16 weeks so I went on bed rest and daily progesterone. Ended up being induced at 35 weeks for HELLP. Now my doctor are wanting me to do a cerclage at 12 weeks. Anyone have one and what was the result?

I think once you have been diagnosed with low cervix,  especially early you stand a better chance   for instance i had a miscarriage Last year but I wasn't told anything about cervix low , but with this pregnancy I went to doc, as soon as I found out I was 7 weeks + and she said my cervix is almost borderline,  and I have to get the stitches done at 12/13 weeks because it can't be done before its too young.

Just got mine in last week. I was 12 weeks and they noticed my cervix was starting to open. They were glad that it was done early. I haven’t been put on bed rest for the whole time. They did inform me not to take baths or workout. I’m just really wondering when it would be safe for me to start walking again. Everyone has different story’s with their cerclage.

I have a cerclage now it was a rescue one put in at 22w and my doctor has already told me that I’ll need one for future pregnancies that I’ll get earlier on . The earlier the better

I had an emergency cerclage placed my last pregnancy at almost 22 weeks. Then I was on modified bedrest until 36 weeks. Cerclage came out at 37 weeks. I delivered a 9lb baby at 40+3 weeks at home. 
This time I elected to have a cerclage again. It was placed between 13-14 weeks. I’m almost 24 weeks now. We still have anxiety related to the pregnancy but I have a lot more freedom of activity. I can be up for twenty minutes at a time, drive, go for short walks. It has been better. The cerclage gives me a better peace of mind as well.

I had a cerclage at 22 weeks.  I delivered at 37 weeks.  I probably would have gone to 39 but my blood pressure started to rise.  My OB has already told me that I will have another cerclage between 14 and 18 weeks on my next pregnancy.

Anyone have a cerclage?
