I graduated in 2016, I didn’t start college right away because my addict mother refused to sign it saying that someone was going to steal her identity and also that she was not interested at all in helping me in any way after I was 18. I moved out as soon as I turned 18, and have been away from her since. I finally got the courage up to turn in a fafsa this year, but I have to call and discuss my “special circumstance.”

Does anyone have any experience with this? Advice? Words of encouragement? I feel very alone.
