Breast pump???

This is my first baby and I don't know what kinda of pump to get.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

With my first I had the Madela Pump in Style. It worked pretty good, I breastfeed for about 15months a while in the military so definitely did it’s job. But this time around I’m planning on get the Spectra S2 because it’s hospital grade and has great reviews

I did a lot of research on this and ultimately decided on Spectra s1 so I don’t have to be plugged in all the time. I want the freedom to be wherever I feel comfortable and still be able to pump. My insurance covered a large portion and I think I paid the remaining $125 or something

First thing I would do is call tour health insurance company and see if they cover a pump and which ones they cover. Every insurance is different

I had the spectra S1? With my first, whichever one has the rechargeable battery between the S1 and S2. My insurance covered it all and updated parts a few months later (as I mainly breastfed and only pumped for the occasional bottle).

I had a medala with my first pregnancy and it worked great. The thing I hated about it was being tied down to the wall while I was pumping. So this time around I got a baby Buddha so I can at least walk around while I'm pumping.

Check out the company Aeroflow. They might be able to get you a breast pump for free through your insurance. I found out about them through the Pregnancy Podcast (if you aren't listening to this already, START NOW! It's so informative!!) 
I signed up yesterday and I got a response right away that I was approved for a free pump. The ones that they offer on their website seem pretty awesome, but I'm still waiting to do more research before I pick one out.

After a lot of research and suggestions from a few friends, I went with the Spectra2.

If in the USA you can usually get a free one via insurance. Which a lot of women do versus finding the "best" one. I got a couple from friends and am going to check them out to see how horrendous they are but wasnt planning to research to find the one for me.
