IUD weirdness

I got a hormonal IUD in after my last baby in late 2018. I had near constant heavy spotting/light period for almost 7 months (with occasional heavy days) which tapered off at about 8 months. Since then I have had crazy irregular periods on average 3 weeks apart but occasionally as soon apart as 2-5 days. I wouldnt call it spotting because there is a clear STOP to the first one where there is no discharge of any kind for a few days, but then comes back at a full period level flow without any warning.

Anybody have experience with these kinds of symptoms or irregularities? When I talked about it with my doctor at my annual a year after getting it in, they said that it didn't seem TOO unusual but I dunno if it's usual for it to be so weird for so long? Should I talk to my doctor again or seek another opinions? Or should I just...ride it out until the next time I have a baby as me just being one of the weird outliers of reactions to having an IUD?
