I stopped picking up after him and this is what happened..
I’m not a stay at home mom, I work on the weekends and my SO is pretty much a stay at home dad (he has income from a workman’s comp claim) but for a really long time I did the household chores with no help from him because I’m just a clean freak and I like living in a clean house but I’m 29 weeks pregnant and I’m just getting overwhelmed with how much work it all is (with two toddlers running around all day) so I told him I needed help and that he has to do his own laundry from now on. So I finished up the last of the laundry and gave us separate baskets and told him I’d still do the kids laundry. He’s always dropped his clothes off on the floor next to the bed but before I would always pick it up and put it in the basket two steps away for him, but I stopped doing that and this is what happened... it’s been a few weeks and he hasn’t done one load of his laundry and his basket is overflowing in the closet too. I’m not going to say anything and I’m just going to see how long it takes him to do his own laundry. I’m tempted to just throw it away and see if he even notices. Men are trash lmao.
