So lately I’ve had a few people like 6 tell me that if you have an easy pregnancy then you in for it for rough labor and delivery and if you pregnancy is rough your labor and delivery is smooth and easy. Has any one else heard this and what are some of your feelings on a statement like this?

Delivery/labor is not a walk in the park whether your pregnancy is smooth or rough. A tiny human is exiting your body by vagina or C-section. Tell me that’s easy!

I feel like this is an old wives tale...like if you’re carrying low it’s a boy (I’m having a boy-it’s not true), or if you’re craving sweets it’s a girl (also not true-I’ve wanted nothing but sweets).

Incorrect. Personally I had 2 easy pregnancies with 2 quick and 'easy' labours and deliveries and 2 easy recoveries. 
Baby #3 could break the streak though, who knows.

Nope. My 3rd was a really easy pregnancy and my labor was even easier (went from 5cm to delivered in 30 minutes). It was painful but easy. My 4th was probably my hardest pregnancy but for the most part labor was easy but recovery tough. He and I both were bruised (He on his face me down there) this most recent pregnancy was ok. It wasn’t easy by any means but I definitely wouldn’t say it was difficult either. I am type 2 diabetic so it was hard in the fact they took me off my oral meds and put me on insulin and like every one else here had to to go to appointments alone. But there were so many times (except for the last week or two) I didn’t really feel pregnant until she would kick or I’d look at my stomach. The last couple weeks started to get rough. My labor and delivery were ok. They had to keep stopping the pit because she wasn’t totally tolerating it but once they got things figured out it was easy thanks to my epidural.

My first pregnancy was a breeze with no symptoms except elevated blood pressure and labor and delivery where also a breeze this pregnancy has been pretty easy though I have had a lot more symptoms I will see what labor and delivery is like though

My first was a TERRIBLE pregnancy. Traumatizing even. 
My second was a breeze.. seriously barely felt pregnant until the last 2 weeks. 
Both labors were the same. HOWEVER my first as a newborn was wayyyyy easier than my second. So I always say easy pregnancy-tough newborn 😂

I think it’s bull... I had an easy pregnancy with my first and an easy labor as well. I did have an epidural, but it was 10hr total. 🤷‍♀️

Doesn’t apply to me lol. I’ve dealt with severe nausea (vomiting from day one until I gave birth) all pregnancies and I had different health issues every time. My first labor was absolutely horrifying and it’s nothing I like thinking about these days. With my second, labor never came and I needed a c-section at 42 weeks as a last resort. This is my third now and I’m having a repeat c-section and I’m not expected to ever go into labor by myself at any point. So you could say my second and third have been “easy” since there was no labor ever lol

I disagree. 
I had an easy pregnancy and a typical labor and and delivery with my first. 
I know someone who has had 4 kids. All of them have been easy pregnancies but labor and delivery has been good and bad.
