My body didn't like my IUD

So I got my Mirena in February to help with my endometriosis and besides some cramping end spotting (which is expected) everything was fine. Fast forward to last week I'm getting heavy bleeding and bad cramps. I thought nothing of it because you know endometriosis. Then yesterday I finished working out and I could feel my iud entering my vagina. So I took a shower and examined with my finger only to find the strings just outside the opening of my vagina. I go to the emergency room and find out the little shit head was practically almost all the way out 🤦🏽‍♀️. Now I know my GYNECOLOGIST would like me to get another form of birth control but like my body is literally rejecting the stuff at this point
