When do babies crawl?

When do babies start crawling? My LO is almost 9 months now and hasnt started any motoring around. Is there anything I can do to encourage him?

My baby is 10 months and isn’t crawling and isn’t close to walking. Some babies just skip crawling. I’m not worried about it. Baby will learn to crawl and/or walk when they’re ready.

With my son, I’d lay him on his tummy for tummy time and push his feet against my hand. Within two weeks he was crawling. And walking before 1. Maybe your child is skipping the crawling stage but will start walking instead

All babies are different I walked at 10 months but one of my brothers didn't until he was over a year. One of my other brothers skipped crawling altogether and just started walking one day

Mine started crawling at 5 months. And was walking by 9months. Every baby is different. Mine was super early in her physical milestones.
