Moldy cups?

Anyone ever have a moldy sippy cup or bottle/nipple and just clean it and reuse it instead of throwing it out????

It's not worth the risk and to be honest, the worry. For a 10 dollar bottle? Just throw it out and get a new one.

For like a porcelain or glass cup, sure. I'd just wash it super well! But if its any kind of plastic, I'd recycle and get a new one.

We dont play around with that. I clean them really good everytime I wash to avoid mold but if it pops up it goes in the trash

I don’t have kids but work at a daycare, if I find anything that has mold or curdled milk in it, it gets thrown away. If it’s only a little mold then I hand wash it a few times, throw it in the dishwasher and then wash it by hand again with hot water so none of the kids get sick.

Moldy? No. Like residual milk caked on at the bottom, yes, I’ve scrubbed out.

I don’t even reuse moldy cups/straws for myself. My husband is notorious for leaving iced coffee in his car and taking it out once it’s moldy. In the trash it goes. 🤢
