Reopening schools

oop • I'm back. Again.. baby#2

I'm curious how places outside of the US are going about reopening schools, and do you agree with the plans in place?

People both in and out of the US, do you have loved ones, be it children or staff, who are facing returning to school soon and do you agree with the plans in place?

I'm in Mississippi and our governor has left the decisions to be made by local school districts. So, in our district you can choose between traditional or distant learning. I feel that's the best bet considering how divided the issue is and the unique challenges most families are facing right now.

Update/Edit:

One of the school districts in my state had it's first positive case in the first week upon opening school. The news reports that the school has completed contact tracing and those individuals will quarantine for 14 days. No word on how many individuals must isolate.

Whew it's gonna be a wild ride.
