Did you wait the full 6 weeks after giving birth to have sex again? If not, when did you have sex again and did your doctor say anything about it??

it’s not recommended to have sex before the end of the six weeks unless your doctor says it’s okay. after birth, there is a plate sizes wound in your uterus and having sex welcomes possible infection. not to mention if you tore during birth and needed stitches, you should wait for that to heal as well.

Doc cut me twice and i tore, ended up with 18 stitches. I had sex 4 weeks pp and it did hurt, but it honestly wasn't that bad. Losing my virginity hurt a thousand times worse. When I went for my 6 week check up the doctor asked and I told him 4 weeks pp I had sex and he didn't seem worried or anything

You should wait to be cleared by a doctor because you have a giant wound the side of a plate and can risk infection. The follow up appointment is usually between 4-6 weeks. Once you get the all clear you can have sex. Plenty of people have sex before that but doctors tell you to wait for a reason. I had sex at 13 weeks because I was terrified it would hurt (which it did but not as bad as I thought it would) and I was too tired

I had a C-section and by week two I had sex lol it was the day before my OB appointment and the next day I asked him if it was OK and he still said no but here I am three weeks now and I’m still having sex almost every day, even started running with my hunny and everything. I feel fine and have no pain 🤷🏻‍♀️ ￼￼
