August baby turned July!
I had an induction on Wednesday night and had the balloon inserted me which honestly wasn’t AS BAD as I thought. Thursday morning, nurses broke my waters and contractions came heavy and fast. I was given the gas and morphine to take away some pain which didn’t work. At one point I grabbed my husband and said I don’t think I can do this and I’m going to die. The midwives were so patient but it was hard to deal with the pain. I begged for the epidural, next thing I know, I scream bloody murder that I need to push. I was told to go on all fours and after 50 mins, my baby boy was out. Pushing was so hard and exhausting that I’m sure the whole floor heard me. I can’t believe I went through that pain and survived it, our body’s are truly so amazing but I’m so scarred. Women across the world you are all impeccable and I applaud every single woman out there. I’m typing this as my boy is in my arms. It is such a lovely feeling. Good luck to all mums yet to deliver, I promise you can do it. 💓💓💓💓💓
