CT when pregnant? Anyone?!

Are there any mamas out there that HAD to get a CT when pregnant? It’s looking like I have to get one and I’m terrified!!!!! I’d you have, was your baby ok? I googled; i believe there is a risk for baby to get cancer due to radiation... please share stories!!!!!

Did a doctor tell it is nessecary after knowing you were pregnant?
If that is the case, then the benefits outweigh the risk and I would listen to doctors.

Are they able to do mri or ultrasound instead? If it’s potentially life-threatening for you and you have no other options, it sounds like it’s something you have to do. DON’T google it. Talk to your doctor instead. I’m sure they’ll do what they can to protect you and your baby during the scan and the risk is still small.
