Husband drinks a lot

Mama’s, I need y’all’s help. My husband has a few drinks almost every night. He can never just have 1 or 2 but he doesn’t get sloppy drunk either. However, his speech doesn’t start to slur. It’s annoying bc the smell is so gross and Im beginning to find him unattractive (which I’ve told him). I’ve asked him to scale it back to only a couple times a week. His response is always “Why? I’m not being a drunk ass hole.” Or, “I’m just trying to relax”. It is a huge source of contention in our home. The biggest thing is my daughter growing up and seeing her dad drunk all the damn time. Plus, I don’t want him handling her when he’s been drinking so that puts extra strain on me. I’m at a loss. Idk what to tell him to get him to understand.
