Help. Yeast Infection or something else?

Recently I tried to Nair my legs and bikini kine, but i quickly realized that it was old so i tried to wash it off, but some got on the outside of my vagina, on my clit and all around. Since then, the whole area has been very itchy and inflamed. There is no weird discharge or anything, all normal except for the constant discomfort. Could this still be a yeast infection or just irritation from Nair that was old?
