A lot happens in that 4 years. I wouldn’t be comfortable with my 14yr old dating at all really let alone an 18yr old.

As someone who made this mistake I’m saying no. That man dated two other young girls and tried to Buffalo at least me into things I wasn’t ready for and threatened to harm me. If someone that much older is unafraid of repercussions you have to wonder what’s wrong with them.

I was 15 dating a 19 year old. I thought I was cool shit at the time. Stupid and naive me. I was very firm and honest about the fact that I wasn't ready for sex. Everytime we hung out, he tried to indirectly pressure me. I felt uncomfortable so I broke up with him. And he told my best friend a few months after that he still really wanted to fuck me and take my virginity, it was a fucked up fantasy for him. I'm so glad nothing happened and that I escaped that relationship unscathed... It could have ended a lot worse.

I was 14 as a freshman and made friends with a senior 18. I then turned 15 and we talked about dating. I think everyone sees 14 and 18 year olds as worlds apart when they are all in one school having classes together. 
And legally a 14 year old cant consent to any physical aspects of a relationship with someone 18 or older. But I also don't think a sexual relationship at 14 is okay no matter what the age is.
