If you were opening up a relationship, how would you feel about your partner setting up their dating profile?

I know a lot of people wouldn't be in an open relationship, 
Just curious about initial reactions to situations which might elicit jealousy, or other feelings. 
How do you feel when you feel jealous & why do you think you feel that way in regards to SO's or people you like?
I've always been more polyamourous  (before I even ever dated), and I don't experience jealousy much, so I don't relate to it super well? Instead, if my partner likes someone, I might also like that person or feel some attraction to them? What's up with that? Lol 
However, I imagine in a real polyamourous situation, I might get to face real jealousy, and I wonder what it might be like.

As you’re starting out, make sure you’re both on the same page. If any of you at any point starts to feel uncomfortable or jealous, you need to talk to the other ASAP. Be very open with everything, decide boundaries on what’s okay, what isn’t. Also decide how much you want to know from the other. Do you want to know when they’re talking to someone? Going on a date? Hooked up with? Having feelings for someone else? Or do you not need/want to know that information from them? Again, if you start to feel jealous or hurt at any time hit the breaks and communicate to resolve it. 
As for dating profiles, I’ve seen it done before where they include a shot of them as a couple, usually towards the end, and are very clear in their bio they are in an open relationship, they are either looking just for sex or open to another relationship (again, something you’ll have to decide. Is this just for sex or to have multiple partners). To me, that seems like the most respectful way to do it, otherwise they could end up hurting other people, or other people seeing his profile and knowing you and thinking he’s cheating.

If you feel jealous about their profile it’s probably a sign that you  shouldn’t be in an open relationship, because heading he had sex with other people probably won’t be easier

Upon many many reasons why I don’t do open a relationships this is one of them. I suggest you watch “newness” in Netflix it really opens your eyes up on what it’s like to be in an “open relationship” the struggles and complications about it. The benefits are no where near equivalent to the troubles/sacrifice the characters face alone and together. There are many elements that go with being in a open relationship and the one question you have is definitely a big element that you have to learn to accept while in an open relationship. To answer your question:  I feel like I wouldn’t have a right to be upset if your SO went on dating apps when your in an OPEN RELATIONSHIP. I think it would be hypocritical and frankly immature.
