How many people have transitioned baby to his/her own crib in their own room?

Just wondering. Baby is 5 months tomorrow and I’m thinking of just starting naps in his crib in his nursery just to become familiar with it. Wondering who has done this already and how did it go?

With my first son I was so scared and paranoid about putting him in his own room because of SIDS and I was worried he would miss me etc. Didn’t end up transitioning him until 7 months bc it was so hard on me, but he ended up sleeping way better. This time I kicked the baby out at 2 months 😂😂 mama needs sleep to wake up with the toddler, daddy kept waking baby up with every fart/sneeze etc and I wanted to kill him. Plus I just feel more confident this time as a second time mom, I know he’ll be okay and he sleeps better without us disturbing him, just like our first. It’s so nice to have our bedroom back! I don’t know about your babies but ours is such a light sleeper we wouldn’t even flush the toilet in our bathroom until morning!

I had her sleeping nights in the crib in our room from day one, last month I started naps in the crib. She knows that it's her bed, she's completely comfortable in it. She LOVES to spread out, and the crib gives her the space to do that.
The first Satuday after she turns 6 months my husband is moving the crib to her room and I'm kicking her cute little butt out of mine. 
We both need to sleep better.

We moved out LO in her room at 4 months- mainly because she outgrew her bassinet and started waking up because she would hit the side or push her head into the side. We had the Halo, so maybe we have a tall baby, but I’m not sure she’d even fit in it at all now! The first few nights, we slept on her nursery floor, but we’ve since moved back to our room with monitor! I say do it when you feel ready. Our girl sleeps so much better in her crib and we do too (I will say the first few weeks you will wake up and look at the monitor a lot!). But it’s so nice to have us time in our room again! But again, do it when you’re ready and when your baby is! Good luck!!

My little one will be 5 months on the 9th. We just transitioned her to her own room on Friday and she looooooves it lol. She sleeps through the night and wakes up just cooing away lol

My little guy has done naps in his crib solidly since about 6 weeks (they aren’t always the longest but he seems to like it) but at night he is in my room. He’s only 4 months so I plan to wait until his sleep is a bit more consistent for the nighttime transfer. He wakes up 1-2 times a night and it varies a lot.

Mine was born at the end of March so she just turned 4 months recently. I’m not quite ready yet! We moved my son into his room closer to 8 months. I’m not sure how long we’ll wait with her. His transition was pretty easy. We started with naps too.

We had moved our daughter crib into our room at 3 months and now she sleeps in it every night with nap times durning the night. We haven’t moved it back to her room yet until she sleeps throughout the night for the most part. I want to make sure when she starts sleeping on her stomach she will be able to move around good if she needs to be in a different position from her stomach when that comes . She will be 5 months on the 15th

Moved our little one around 2 months. She was a loud sleeper, our dogs are loud, we like the tv on and hubby woke up for work at 4:30am. She did great with the move and started sleeping through the night around 2.5 3 months old.

I moved my little guy in his room at the end of June he was almost 4 months and he seems to sleep a lot better in his room. He has more space to sprawl out. If he is in my room then he can sense me and just wants to be by me lol but sometimes I will set up the pck and play and let him sleep in my room lmao
