Basics

My husband left for basics yesterday and he had the mandatory scripted phone call and he called me at like 1am and just hearing no emotion in his voice broke my heart... Nd I cried after the phone call... and since there’s corona he can’t come home after basics he gets put straight on a plane to head to AIT and quarantine for 2 weeks.. with everything going on I won’t see him till February...

Does it get any easier while there away at basics and AIT???
