When to TTC after miscarraige

My partner and I are ready to try again after our MMC.  I just got a negative pregnancy test yesterday so hopefully my first period will be coming within a couple weeks.  
Anyone get pregnant before your first period or within the first few months after MC?
I’m 33 and we really want our baby.  We were very sad over the loss but know that baby wasn’t ready for a life here.

I miscarried in on June 5th and just found out I am pregnant again today! I had one cycle in July.

Some women are super fertile right after a miscarriage and will get pregnant right away. But you also want to make sure you are fully healed and that your cervix is closed to limit infection. Many doctors recommend waiting 1-3 cycles before trying again because of that.
I have seen a lot of posts on here of women going "help, I dont know how far I am!" because they didnt wait at least a cycle for a period. So I think waiting until your body normalizes enough for at least a period is a good idea. 
Also, I didnt realize how stressful, emotionally, have sex was the first time after a loss and kind of regret not waiting...
I am sorry for your loss and good luck. It took me 11 months (with a 1 month rest) to get pregnant again. But I am now almost 28 weeks, so success!! Also note my period came 5 weeks after my loss but i know others where it took longer.
