So I’m in the UK where weed is illegal...

My mum looks after my 18 month old daughter on a Friday when I work and it’s great they get on well. The other day my mum told me how when her friend came around they smiled weed as a laugh and it was great. We had a laugh about it, fine it doesn’t matter but if weed never hurt anyone and I thought nothing more of it.

However, today I’ve gone over there and the house stinks of weed. I asked mum if she’s been smoking it again and she said it was in the bottom draw and pointed to it...

I’ve now text my mum to move it from the bottom draw so my daughter can’t get hold of it and she’s responded with “really thanks a lot for thinking I would do that” and is now not talking. To me am I in the wrong or?!
