At what age do you think a male and female child should stop sharing a bedroom? Thanks!

I think when the eldest is about 9 it's time for separate rooms

My brother and I shared a room until I moved out at 19 years old basically. Apart from the year or 2 we lived at my grandma's and had the space to be able to have our own rooms. We hated it but we dealt with it. We were never really in the room at the same time apart from sleeping. Especially when I was a teenager because I was hardly ever home.

I shared a room with my brother until I was 6, so he was 9/10. Then I got my own room! He was just going into 4th or 5th grade I think so probably right around puberty so my mom wanted him to have more privacy.
