Hi mamas. My baby’s skin is out of control. Could someone please guide me. The doctor said it was eczema but I’m starting to doubt it. Has anyone seen anything similar on their babies? Do you have any remedies? The rash is spreading.

My three year old son has sever dermatitis over his whole body. We went to our countries largest children’s hospital which has a specialist clinic for it due to it bleeding and getting infected. 
I also suffer from it but no where near as sever as my son. Here is what I know:
-heat inflames eczema. So keep your baby as cool as possible. Light breathable clothing. Avoid wool as it itches and sets off the skin. Cool bedding ect. 
-water dehydrates the skin. So make sure if your bathing/showering you mix the water with a bath/shower wash or oil. I have used dermaveen, dermeze or Q.V.  
- I personally avoid citrus for my boy as it can flare up the skin. So VERY watered down juice if he has it and no oranges, mandarins ect. 
-I got a prescription for cortisone cream for my son (he had three different ones as his was sever). I would say this is worth you looking into as your baby looks to have inflamed spots. This cream goes on any red areas two-three times a day. 
-eczema thrives in dry skin. So moisturise, moisturise, MOISTURISE. Even if there is no red areas and you aren’t putting the cortisone cream on still moisturise. This is how I keep on top of my sons dermatitis. If his skin gets too dry it get inflamed quickly and I’m getting the cortisone out again.

Eucerin cream worked wonders for my sons eczema. We bathed him every night with aquaphor baby soap and then put a ton of the Eucerin cream and it went away after a week

My son has eczema. Looks pretty similar. Using aveeno baby eczema therapy twice a day all over does the trick! And he likes the massage too

My first had eczema and that's what it looked like. We used aveeno products and found the oatmeal baths helpful. He hasn't had any problems since.

Honestly for us the only thing that worked was prescribed ointment and prescribed oil. We tried several lotions, the soap was dove sensitive and aveeno sensitive & we tried coconut oil and olive oil and couldn’t get the eczema under control. Also we ended up switching formulas to allimentum which is good for babies with cow milk allergy. Cow milk causes eczema flares. Now we have it under control and his skin is smooth and hes not scratching anymore.

Omg yes! They had my baby on steroid ointment... I did my research and I stumbled across this . It's a little pricey but knocked it out of the park !

Mix Shea butter with Bacitracin. If you don’t have Shea butter mix bacitracin with baby oil. Give it a week or two, you will thank me later.

My son also had eczema. We tried a remedy that a friend who has eczema herself and her baby had it to did. We bath every other day to every 2 days, make sure baby has Aveeno eczema lotion on multiple days a day, and when it’s bath day, lukewarm water, not too hot, and less than 15 minutes in bath. We use cetaphil baby shampoo on his head every bath and wash his body with diluted cetaphil baby soap. So far, his skin has been getting waaay better. My friend said the key way she managed it was making sure not to bath him every day as it dried out his skin and we noticed that only has been helping him. Obviously if needed we quickly sponge bath his body if he gets messy, but using just Aveeno eczema lotion and the hydrocortisone 1% the doctor gave us every time he flares up bad has helped.

Same, We use baby eucerine. Our doc said we should not keep him in the bath too long, put lotion on him while he’s still a little wet and “keep him greasy”. I reapply at every diaper Change and it’s his cleared up within a week.

It looks like dry skin or eczema. I suggest using shea butter (raw) on the skin to moisturize everyday. Also are you bathing him everyday?? If so extra moisture
