Crawling??

So my daughter will be 8 months on the 14th and she hasn’t figured out how to crawl, she pushes herself backwards and she can turn herself completely around and she also planks. But not on her knees crawling or even pulling with her arms yet. Anyone else?

My girl just turned 7 months on the 31st, is not crawling either. She wants to, but has not figured out to get on her knees yet, she does like a swimming motion 🤣 but gets mad that shes not getting anywhere. It's normal for them not to crawl until like 11 months, some babies dont crawl at all, and go straight to walking later on

My daughter will be 8 months on the 10th and she’s not even doing any of the things you mentioned your LO is doing. She wants nothing to do with anything but sitting on her butt and playing. She won’t stay on her belly for more than a minute without screaming. I’ve tried helping her by putting her knees under her and she just lets them slip out and cries. I’ve tried putting her favorite toys infront of her and she’ll just reach as far as she can and cry because she can’t reach.

It’s ok she will in her own time but to help put her favorite toys or yourself a little ways away from her to encourage her to crawl

My daughter is 2 now and didn’t crawl until she was 10 months old and even then it was this odd knee dragging army crawl type thing. She scooted backwards for 2 months 🤷🏼‍♀️ she figured it out eventually. Don’t stress!!

My son is 8 months on the 26th. He hasn’t figured out how to crawl yet. He rolls around a lot and can roll wherever he wants to go. I haven’t stressed about it. My daughter was never super interested in figuring out how to crawl but once she got started walking she took off.

This is exactly what my daughter does and she will be 8 months on the 10th. She can only get her knees under her and rock back and forth in her crib. When she planks on the floor and tries to get her knees under her she just ends up sliding backwards.

Same, almost 8 months. Loves being on his tummy and he can slid backwards and wiggle around. But no where near crawling. Doctor isn’t concerned at all. She said since the “back to sleep” thing most babies skip crawling and go straight to walking.
