My bf wants to name our daughter Precious. I personally don’t like the name because I’ve been tainted by the movie ‘Precious’ what’s you guys’s opinion ? 
I want him to name her and I love how he’s being such a dad wanting to name our baby Precious but 😖

It’s creepy sorry. As a women I don’t want men calling me precious as a woman or a little girl it just gives me a off feeling. Give her a powerful name. Not a submissive little girl name.

When i hear precious i think of a puppy or lord ofnthe rings. I call babies precious but i also call them sweet. Personally i wouldnt do it.

I had a student named Precious, please just don’t. These kinds of names sound cute for a 3 year old. At 45 it’s way less cute. When she enters the job market she will have a harder time simply because of her name.
